Sporting Chefs - 15th October 2009

Founded in 2008 Sporting Chefs brings sporting celebrities into the kitchen in a battle of the pans to raise money for the BBC Children in Need charity. You thought they were competitive on the field - you haven't seen anything yet!

Sporting Chefs Menu

The menu prepared by our celebrity Sporting Chefs includes :

 

Canapes
Sushi Rolls
Seared Tuna
Seared Beef
Prawn & Noodles
Salad of pear-pickled walnuts, creamed gorgonzola and cured black forest ham
Seared king scallops on a truffle risotto samphire
Beef fillet wrapped in tapenade on baked macaroni with a shin of beef confit
Dark chocolate and apple confection
Coffee and petit fours
 
 

Event now taken place

The 2009 Sporting Chef event has now taken place with everyone having a great time. We are still counting the monies and gathering all the pledges and will announce the amount shortly.
